Assignment: Facilitate a Pillar (~2 hrs)

Assignment:

Step 1: You will be facilitating ONE of the 8 Pillars. (We recommend CLARITY, but you can choose the one that most resonates with you.)
Step 2: Using the Trust Edge PowerPoint deck, spend 1-2 hours preparing a complete facilitation of your pillar. Remember to include at least one of your mind mapped stories for that pillar (3-5 minute story).
Step 3: Once you’ve prepared, record a video of yourself teaching your pillar. The length of the video should be between 10-15 minutes. This video can be done by sharing your screen on a Zoom recording or by propping up your camera and recording yourself in front of the slides (bonus if you have a live audience–no matter the size).
Step 4: Submit your assignment by posting your Pillar Facilitation video link in your Cohort Group. We have found that the best way to create a shareable link is by uploading to YouTube.

Instructions for Uploading:

Using the Trust Edge deck, select ‘save as’ name of your choice. Then make your edits within the newly saved PowerPoint deck. This can include hiding or deleting slides or putting them in a different order. You can also add slides that have been approved by Trust Edge.
To present and record, start a Zoom call just for yourself. Start recording thru Zoom. Share your screen and choose the PowerPoint deck you will present from. Run the PowerPoint and start presenting/facilitating.
Once you are done, stop sharing screen and close out your Zoom meeting. Zoom will then create the mp4 file that you can upload to YouTube. Only the mp4 file is needed.
